Only 13 miles west of Chicago lies the small city of LaGrange. Home to only around 16,000 residents, LaGrange offers more small-town charm than a big city atmosphere, and for many of its residents, that’s one of its main attractions. Home to many trendy bars and cafes and a varied real estate market, LaGrange is an often overlooked haven for professionals and families looking to live close to Chicago without necessarily living in the city itself.
